Since creating ABSTRAXX in 2004, funding sample & production cost were some of the hardest obstacles I faced. With ABSTRAXX being fully funded on its own, budget cost are extremely slim. I have the option of investing all ABSTRAXX budget into creating samples, but then leave myself with no production budget. So I go back and fourth trying to budget sample and production cost while keeping ABSTRAXX current inventory steady. I’ve spent a ton of money on samples over the years, going back and forth with manufactures about quality, how I want the final product to look, the details of the labels, the thickness of the material, etc, etc, etc. I can easily spend $1000+ creating one sample product (shirt, backpack, pants) & never make a financial return. To keep things short, the moral of the story is NEVER GIVE UP in what you believe in. I could of gave up on ABSTRAXX years ago, worked a 9-5 job & lived a life that I wasn’t happy with. I still have no clue where this ABSTRAXX journey will take me, but I do know it’ll be positive.
